To boost our starting pitching, one of our main objectives this offseason is to add one of the best. I welcome the entire deGrom family, including Jacob and his wife Stacey, to the Rangers on behalf of the entire organization.”

Meanwhile, the Boston Red Sox appear unlikely to enter the bidding for the four top free agent starters, including deGrom. Instead, they are likely looking to the next tier of available starters.
