The base of Lifetime’s “Let’s Get Physical” is Alexis Wright, a Zumba teacher who ran a prostitution ring in Kennebunk, Maine.
She graduated from Mt Ararat High School in Topsham and rented multiple spaces in a strip mall in 2010 for Zumba studio and her Sensual Body Work by Lydia massage service.
She taught Zumba to soccer moms, but at night she ran a sophisticated prostitution ring.Then neighbors complained of hearing moans and groans from her studios.
In 2012, Authorities raided and realised that she made a whopping $150,000 from her illegal prostitution ring in a year and a half and evaded taxes. She even videotaped the act without her clients’ knowledge.
In March 2013, Wright was was convicted and sentenced to ten months in jail. With $57,000 in restitution and $1,000 as fines. Partner, Strong also sentenced to 20 days in prison.In November 2013,She was released early from jail after serving 6 months of her 10 month sentence, for good behavior. Then she goes by the name of Alexis Sandra Trowbridge.
